I just purchased the above mentioned DVD receiver, and while I wait to get my screen installed, I hooked up the player in my car. Well any time I try to play a regular CD, I get a message "FRMTREAD" for format read, followed by the "ERROR 2" screen. This happens on every CD and DVD I put in. Any input? Does the parking brake wire have to be hooked up to play and kind of disc? I am also able to power on the HU while the ground is not, well, grounded. Seems strange to me. Thanks for the input.
