Anyone install Focal 165A up front?
I've been trying to determine what components to run up front for a while now. I dont want to moddify anything other than adding spacers. The focal website says the 165A's mounting depth is 66.2 mm which puts them at 2.61" With a .75" spacer, will this fit without any other modifications?

I don't remember the website but I have a list of a bunch of speakers that fit with spacers...thin and thick.
Those are on the list.
let me know how they sound as they are on my short list of speakers to buy....

Any 6.5 should work up front with a 1 inch spacer. Focal are good speakers, but WRX's have weird accoustics. You will need a speaker with a lot of mid-bass. That's from experience!!

They should fit with a 3/4" spacer. You have out the old plastic stock spacer and make a new one. Put an extrem dynamat, atleast a speaker kit. Here's a link on how-to-install.

Not all 6.5's fit, i believe i remember outferno saying 6.5 refrences didn't fit without some modification even with the spacers.
I know that 165K2's definately won't fit.
