amp advice?
i just got some infinity kappa speakers 63.5 for the front and 42.5 for the back cheap and i was wondering what amp should i get i have a rockford fosgate deck only has 25 rms and 40 peak power.
i herd goodthings about fosgate amps so just throw out sugestions.

maybe you should get some jbl amps.. they are cheaper then rockfords and since infinity/jbl all come from the same parent company it would match it more. a 4 channel amp would be awsome for those.. 1 speaker per channel would give alot of juice to them. if money is a concern get a jbl p 80.2 which will give 40 watts per channel.
dont get alpine.. over rated.. try pg, jl for sq for sure.. arc audio is the ****.. but your spending wayyyyy too much for an amp and decent speakers.. u know what i mean.. now if you had the 5.1 kappa perfects then yes go buy these.. but you just need somerthin that will power them correctly not competition ****.. gl on ur choice

have you considered crossfire amps? they're pretty nice if you're on a budget.

I have the JL 300/4 as well....well it's actually in my civic I sold two weeks ago. But will be in my wrx I pick up tomorrow.
I love it...it's pushing JL 6 inch seperates and JL 6x9's......people sometimes ask where my sub is.
I highly recommend this amp.

No profile. I used to sell them and they were all duds. They broke all the time... The alpines are fine for what you probably want to do with them. I installed an alpine 5 channel amp in a friend's car with a new head unit, stock speakers and an 8" sub under the passenger seat. It was a vast improvement over the stock system and he can enjoy it with the windows down.
Yours will sound even better because the infinity spkrs are better than stock ones. There are other good amps for the money as well, just stick with a reputable brand like alpine, fosgate, etc... And remember most of all, you get what you pay for with amps. So if the guy says he has two amps for $150 and one is a good brand rated at 50 watts per channel and the other is an odd brand rated at 300 watts per channel, well, they usually wind up sounding about the same loudness and the off brand sometimes sounds worse. All these amps on ebay that say 1000 watt amps for $100 are not worth it at all... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!
We used to see people come into the shop with some crap brand HUGE looking amp and we would convince them to buy a tiny little fosgate amp to replace it and it would always sound louder and cleaner when they left...
