Alarm with a turbo timer....
I am sure this has been brought up before but I could not find much info on this. The more I have been thinking the easyer it seems to make the alarm arm when the car is still running. My old car was able to do it and I think it is simply a matter of a few wire snips. Anyone have any more info on this?

its simple. all you do is cut a few wires. i forgot exactly what colors they were, but if you check out www.scoobymods.com they'll have the info. they use a different TT but the cutting of the wires is the same.

there are two locations where you have to find. one is in the center console. you have the upgraded alarm system right? and the other location is on top of the fuses. you're looking for a lttle black box.

Don't you have to splice into the plug that connects the Ignition wire? The blue plug I have undone in the center of the picture?

Okay from my understanding the accessory wire will be cut and left that way. Rite? The side from under the dash will just be tapped twice and routed to the two wires on the black boxes. Rite?

Okay I got another queston. Do I leave the accessory wire intact and simpely rerout it so it no longer goes to the TT and also so it is tapped to the two other wires on the alarm?

Okay I finaly figured it out a few hours ago. No thanks to the lacking instructions. Maybe I am just "slow" or somthing, but this has inspired me. I documented the process complete with pictures. Tommrow I will have a total and very discriptive guid on how to do this mod.
