lim f(x) = L
x->a
if, given any number e > 0, we can find a number 'g' > 0 such that f(x) satisfies:
|f(x) - L| < e
whenever x satisfies
0 < |x-a| < g

talk about primitive? the last time i did limits was sophomore year in high school... 1994-1995...

its an 8 hours test covering the following
math
statistics
ethcis
engineering economics
statics
dynamics
chemistry
fluid mechanics
thermodynamics
computers
mechanics of materials
material science
electric circuits
and i think thats it, there is probably more
and last year they made a new rule stating that no graphing or text editing capable calculators are allowed
plus its closed book
