so, im outside my friends shoe store right now and ive come to a realization... the shoe game has become way too big. there are kids here that have camped out for 24 hours just to get a new pair of shoes. granted, the can go home and get 4 times what they paid for them on ebay or wait longer and get even more, but who in their right mind would want to sit in the cold just for a pair of shoes. little do they know that there are only 10 pairs of the ones that are hot. the rest have to choose from the other two colors. the whole thing is sick.

Tell me about it, when I was working at mcdonalds (bleh) glad I don't work there anymore, but anyways, these guys were spending their whole paychecks on shoes, spending almost a grand on shoes!!!! that's just f**king crazy!!!

not that i would, but there are only 444 pairs of thoes shoes ever made. within the whole "sneaker" community these are the equivalent of some price less jem. my friend was lucky enough to buy a pair when they came out and and he constantly gets 1000 dollar offers.

yeah, the sneaker community is pretty out of hand. theres a website called niketalk.com that breaks everything down. its just like this forum, but dedicated to nike sneakers. the shoes that came out last week were limited to a production run of 420 pairs. thoes denim nikes that sold on ebay for over 1300 were limited to 444 pairs. it will be interesting to see how much they are worth in a years time.
