On a brighter note, I finally got a half dozen people to get pieces powder coated with me. See the power in the coat, of the powder coating will significantly reduce vibration in the suspension. In relation, that will stabilize the car and drastically reduce noise. It's going to be super trick.

 

If i get my whole car power coated will it be uber fast?

 

Well you see that can go both ways, and this is why:

Good: You see, the powder coating, yeah, would greatly improve the structural integrity of the body. It would also give it a nice, durable paint job.

On the contrary though

Bad: Added weight. Also, you would have to strip the entire car down to it's bare shell, and bake the powder into the body in pieces.

It's incredible the kind of stuff they can do these days. I mean wow. It just blows my mind.

Depends on your baking technique. We use this machine at work which will sit there and slowly put pressure onto the powdered coat. Normally the strong coats are fairly deterring to speed, and the the weaker, sleeker ones seem to handle air more efficiently.

I cannot speak from experience with the characteristics of Cocaine and CoD (coefficient of drag) but I can tell you we used to joke around about it back in college. Me and my old roommate would leave a trail of powdered sugar all the way to the floor manager's door. Funniest thing.
