Did you get it figured out yet? If not, I am in Apopka, and I could probably help you do it. I have not done an Injen intake before but I have had my airbox/snorkel out before so that would be no problem. I think from there it would be pretty straight forward. Are you sure you wanna use a CAI with the wet season approaching? Just avoid big puddles.

Thnx for responding. I did think about that whole puddle thing and I hope that it doesn't present that much of a problem. But I'm willing to go for it. I do really want to take you up on that offer, I myself have no idea how to do it. I thought it wouldl be simple but I heard some stuff about taking off the wheel and other B.S. If I could get some more info on where you are and when you would be willing to help I would appreciate it.
Thanks agian,
-Paul
P.S. just so i know what would happen if I hit a deep puddle with the intake on?

Yes, the wheel will have to come off because the filter sits inside the fender, which you have to access by taking out the fender liner. If you do hit a deep puddle, there is a chance water could get sucked through the intake and it can cause some pretty bad engine damage. You might want to look at the pics of the 11 second car on the turboxs website and see their "custom intake." All that it is is an Injen intake that has been cut off so it sits in the engine compartment. That might be a good idea with the weather we have here. It really will not make a difference performance wise. Whether you are putting warm air or cold air into the turbo it is still going to come out hot. Do you have any other mods on your car? I live near Errol Estates in Apopka, if you know where that is.

Yeah, I got a few other mods. Well actually just one, a kit from vishnu, the stage zero. It incluede their piggyback, pulley, plugs, the uppipe, and the pos boost controller which has given it too me royally, because I believe (I don't have a guage)(yeah I know, I'm a dumbass, a poor one though) that I was running too much boost for a short while, maybe a week or two or three... I don't know. I really don't know that much about cars I just got into the field when I started suoping up my dad's GrandNational. Thats been about 2 yrs. So I think a few things are as they should not be. as far as plugs (may need new ones). and the whole boost pressure, and I think that the chip might actually be screwing with my car, I don't know and that pisses me off. But yeah I boufght the intake becuse I got it for a really good price, $50. Before I really wasn't going to mess with my intake. And then I have the all mighty blitz blowoff, and a short throw. other than that she's stock. hELL YEAH ,I just looked at that intake on the turbo xs car. I think that is what I'll do. So all you have to do is cut the thing huh? Cut it with what? Do you think the installation will be easier w/ it like that? Another question, and I hope I'm not being a pest and asking too much, but do you think that their is even an increase in performance w/ this intake? I sure hope so damnit!
Thanks,
-Paul
