Autox or any type of racing in FL

I'm looking to get into some sort of racing locally (tampa area) or willing to travel on the weekends and stuff, but cant really seem to find any good clubs or groups of people who organize stuff like this. Anybody could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

I'd check out http://www.cfrsolo2.com for dates and such for SCCA autocross events in the Central Florida area. These are definitely a lot of fun to go to.

If you're more interested in track racing, I'd check out http://www.nasa-southeast.com . I have yet to still go to one of these events, but I have several buddies that go to them pretty often and they have a blast. It's definitely the best way to go to get real time track practice. It can be alittle expensive, but compared to the amount of driving time you get in autocross events, it is well worth it.

there is some rally racing going on these days in south florida (miami) and mid florida around sebring. Go to the rallyrebels site and check it out. It is a lot of fun and i like it more than auto-x cause you are sideways the whole time.
