I am entering the Rally-X school and event on the 28th.... Wonder if it is going on that weekend with the rain and all... ordered some mud flaps which will probably come in handy with all the mud on the course.

Anyone else doing the Ridgecrest Rally-X/School?

Doesn't rain much there. It's in the rain shadow of the Sierras.
Goggle Ridgecrest Calif weather in the middle of the week. A good share of Saturday is classroom.

I'll see you at the Rally-X(29th) I too will have mudflaps this year (thanks to Aerosim). It will be a ton of fun, I did the school last year which was very informative. Good info for those wanting to become a regular to Rally or just good info to know as a good driver on the road. The Rally-X is a lot of fun and shouldn't be missed. Be sure to bring a camera.

p.s. You probably already mapquested the way to Ridgecrest but a generalization is its 100 miles east of Bakersfield, Just east of Edwards AFB

Still a few openings in the school and auto X. hurry. The location is about 1 hour north of Lancaster Calif.

Weather prediction for Saturday is sunny!

Everything you need to know is on the first post's link.

Adrian,

How much did you pay for your rally mud flaps?

Are they pre-cut and ready to screw on?

I ordered the mud flaps from Fastline Motorsports...
They were sort of expensive at $132 shipped.. but I wanted them on the car for this weekend and didn't have time to cut some out...

Looking forward to the school..

I just ordered mind from aerosim for about $45, almost $50 after tax for front and rear Sparcos. I think I will need to adjust the front ones to fit properly though. I was going to get the Fastline's but I thought I would check with the locals first. Not to shabby of a deal. I was too busy and lazy to make my own.

Ya, that's pretty good.. about half what I paid after shipping/tax...

These are meant for the WRX, and come with hardware.. so they should fit very nicely.. I printed out the pdf with install pics.. and instructions..

I can always trim themto make em a bit more custom looking.

I hope I can get mine by Friday so can install them b4 I drive up from LA.

Patrick

ps. could you send me a pic of your wing or an url of the co. who makes em..

I really like the EVO type for WRX that Primative racing makes...

I opted to not have the CF Splitter. I wanted more of an OEM look, the STi wasn't out yet so I asked Irvine Subaru to get me something closest to the Rally Car. They said that was the closest they had to offer so I took it. Not too bad, the CF version is adjustable. Mine might be too but it would look funny with the paint job, you would see where my splitter was sitting. Its a good wing, I just dislike the Kaminari logos on the side.

ya,

It's a functional wing at least. I like the non-adj wing from Primitive racing..

No frills wing, but looks like Evo..
