what is a pro tools computer? all you really need is at least a P4 with the most memory you can afford to put on it and a big hard drive. that and a good (low latency) audio interface.

are you using PC or mac? (my guess is PC...)

have you tried using logic? 6.5 is the last one they made for PC, it's just as powerful as pro tools. i can help you out with that.
