I have a NRG carbon fiber trunk lid that I bought from paperchasin one month ago. It still looks good as when I bought it new. Fitment is not Seibon quality (there are couple mm gaps on both sides). I'm looking to trade with any aspen white trunk lid, as long as it is in perfect condition (wings are O.K., wingless is best)

I am located in Riverside near UCR.

I like the cf trunk a lot, but I wish I had the hood to go with it. The reason why I'm getting rid of it so soon is that I haven't been driving my wrx to school or work because I'm scared that it might bubble up in the heat. I let my audi get the beating for now. I'm sure that the cf trunk can take the heat, but my car would be out in the sun from 9 to sunset.

 

i seriously doubt there would that much heat to bubble up carbon fiber..

 

i don't know about that, riverside is pretty hot.

back in san francisco, where there isn't much heat, i've seen many cf hoods have their clear coat lift and bubble up.

 

I have an STI trunk w/wing. How is the fitment on the trunk?

 

i have seen the CF wings melt in vegas in the sun for a few days
