FT: VF34, fmic, LINK setup for Cobb S2 or similar
This may be crazy, but in an effort to better setup my car for autoxing and to move from SM to STX I want to see if anyone is willing to trade my entire VF34 setup for a stock turbo and reflashed engine management. I simply don't like the lag in 2nd gear out of slow corners, and I don't like the throttle response. Here's what I want to trade:
-VF34
-Walbro fuel pump
-STi pink injectors
-LINK stadalone engine management
-Blitz FMIC (w/ possible WRB bumper trade)
-HKS SSQV BOV
The VF34 has a worn wastegate spring, which caused the turbo to be excessively laggy, so I had a spring added along the wastegate arm. The turbo spools fine now, but a more permanent solution would be superior. You can buy a used wastegate for about $50, but Deadbolt is coming out with upgraded springs (apparently this is fairly common). The front mount is shady...its a little crooked on my car, but, hey...you don't have to take it...
What I am looking for is:
-Stock TD04
-engine management
-stock fp, injectors
-cat-back exhaust (maybe)
-stock BOV
-removal/installation of turbo (but I'm more than willing to help out if you know what you're doing)

hey, u need to delete ur private messages an check ur email so we can decide a date to swap parts. i've already done a up-pipe swap. i have all the tools ect. we can do it at my shop. let me know when asap.
dorrington, i am pretty sure we will trade something. i thought i was first in line. it seems not. i have everything an we can trade. either the bov, or the ecu, turbo, or watever man.

I haven't told anyone they had "dibs" on this...I've simply been finding those with the most interest and filtering through those that get all exited about a VF34 and didn't read everything I'm asking for.
Sigma is first in line...not because of his proximity, but I believe he has the only WRB car of those interested and he MAY be willing to trade my hacked up bumper for his.
