Cuz they service use to be crap and go down for hours almost once or twice a month.
They gave me a month for free.
DSL is good if you live near the center station
DSL is carry by copper telephone line. Farther you are from the station, the weaker the signal = crappy connection)
They don't even offer DSL in my area cuz i'm too far from the station (pomona)
Franco's house has good connection cuz he's really close to the verison DSL main station.
Cable sux if there are too many people using the connection because the bandwidth is shared within the community.
Fiber optic is best.. FIOS not available in my area.

well duh, even browsing if the nodes are overloaded from BT and whatever else then your still ****ed. i had the same problem at my old place, i was on the phone every single night with TW. daytime i will hit my 6mbps nighttime its below 1mb or timeout. look at my speed test.
