good God when will it end? last week speeding ticket on the 605 N going 80 mph. today, left on a no left in pasadena (fair oaks to colorado).

strategy:
traffic school for the foist.
delay teh f for the second and then a written appeal. egh.


any takers on another (read: better) way about going about this

they ask if you have taken traffic school in the last 18 months thats a no to both tickets go for both

That sucks man, one time I got two speeding tickets one week. That pissed me off! The first one was for doing 80 on the freeway. The second was for doing 60 in a 45 speed zone. I was late for work that day, the cop follows me all the way to my work. When I pulled into the parking lot, he pulls in behinf me and gives me a ticket. The whole time my boss is outside watching the whole thing while smoking.

you can ask the court for every little detail on the radar gun that was used. they would have to tell you when it was last calibrated. if they dont tell you that info, you can actually get the ticket dismissed. but if they do tell you the info, try to fight that the radar gun wasnt calibrated often enough to be accurate. that is what most traffic clinic lawers do when they go in to fight the ticket. i have my lawyers fighting my ticket as we speak in san francisco.

 

pay some $ and hire a lawyer. it'll save you some $ in the long run from insurance premiums.

thank you guys for all the advise. you all are so much nicer and sound of mind than the "other club." i will take each of your pieces of wisdom and mull it over a bit. kind of depressed. i think that if i stall enough on the lefty turn i might be able to squeeze by. hopefully (on knees).
