The only thing that staves off the buyers remorse is that STI don't come in Wagon form.
I hate WRX 2nd gear(lags outta corners not taken at scary speeds)...so 6-speed would prolly be nice.
17" stock rims = good.
2.5L 300hp stock engine, check!
Brembos = more stoppage.
Center Dif = badass, though would like AYC.
Er, I think I like everything about the STI 'cept the wing, pricetag, insurance rate hikes, extra attention from the po-po and streetricers and, again, no wagon. Oh yes, and no bugeyed STIs(yes, i do like the bugeyes)
I remember when i first got my WRX. I immeadiately grew horns and started drivin' like a damn fool. I was drunk with power, literally. I can only imagine what would have happen if it was an STI.

sti 2nd gear is way shorter than the wrx 2nd. i always lag out of 2nd gear if i shift out of 1st under ~4k
