all i have to say is mat jackson didn't even have a complete team, i read some article that he had limited budget and only had a race engineer in certain races.

Ah i see. I remember this one driver that won the BTCC as a privateer and was one of the few (if not the only) person to do that. I'm thinking it was matt neal, but i could be wrong.
