what up travis! Well there are plenty of places to eat around life plaza. Here are some ideas...
korean bbq - off nogales and colima ( 5 min away)
thai - "banan bay" which is up the street
Chinese - theres traditional and "hong kong" style (off nogales)
japanese - "curry house" and "furaibo" around the corner
vietnamese - theres a good pho place in life plaza

thats a quick run down... i know a lot more around the area... so take your pick and see you thursday

 

awe dude. im down for any of those places. it would make the drive worth it for sure. been to the thai place and curry house. . . both yummy. i love hong kong style and have wanted to try furaibo for a while. i think they have one over by UCLA too. so yeah let me know whats up

 

mmm furaibo...tori peri kara! damn... screw this im ditching work right now and grabbing me some! furaibo can get pricey if you are starving though...ok karen or travis make choice...all this food talk...

 

yea there are both furiabo and curry house in west la on sawtelle. furaibo is great. always get the chicken wings and beer :P

on a side note

i was interested in going to one of the meets, but as a noob, i was wondering are people in general welcoming? i would feel a tad awkward since y'all have been doing these since god knows when. :P

if im at the meets, i generally come up to the new people and say hello because i know how intimidating it is to go to a meet when you dont know anyone. and i think it a lil easier if a girl approaches right? just show up and itll be fun.
