this is like... the 7th time I am going out with her... so it's cool. Basically I made a vow to myself not to do backflip to impress girls anymore. Having said that I got her some flower this time. I think she is a very nice person and cute... We'll see what happen. We went to the Grove already... is there somewhere else I can go afterward?

You're just getting to know each other (plus this is a good way to see how she reacts to this sort of date.. Sorta filters out all the gold diggers from the fun types).
I dunno, that's just my two cents.. D&B is just an example of the type of place.. So this beef place doesn't sound too bad (as franco pointed out, doesn't HAVE TO be romantic, just FUN). Oh ya, one more thing,.. try not to sit directly across from her. Sit next to her. What i mean is, if you were to draw a line you would make a 90 degree angle.. I found that this helps a lot cause you both do not the pressure of having to look directly at each other.. after a while, it gets uncomfortable. If you sit the way i mentioned, it gives you to space to breath, and it gives you guys the "Choice" of looking at each other whenever you feel comfortable...

Oh one more thing., If you REALLY want to know what type of person she is.. Pick her up on your first date in a beater car.. see if she calls you back, or agrees to a second date.. If she does, then pick her up in your car, and when she asks. Just say it was in the shop.. Well, that is of course, she doesn't already know what car you drive.. :P
