i haven't tried avant but the fact that it rides on IE killed it for me. opera is also skinnable in case you don't like the default look.

firefox is getting there but it's not quite fast enough doing forward/backward. it also seems like once you add extensions to it, it slows way down.

im running half a gig of memory and some times it does eat up all of it and almost locks up

try avant if you dont mind how it looks
