2 up/down pipe installs in one day is nucking futs without a lift and what not. Go to Aerosim research in Costa Mesa.

Why don't you put an up pipe in at the same time. Since with a bov, TBE there will be a lot of flow and the excess gas might cause the up pipe cat to break up prematurely.

Even if you have 1 cat in your dp the exhaust flow is still higher, and you still have a 100% atmo bov that will eat the uppipe cat and send it into your turbo. ah i onno

no it's won't.. it's just runs rich for half a second.. when you shift..
there is absolutely no one that ever posted having their uppipe break up and eat their turbo.. because they ran BOV.

eventually i'm going to buy a take off sti catless upipe to replace my wrx one.
but just not right now..
i think the JDM d/p + gram light exhaust combo will provide suffient flow.. without having the car run rich..
plus i'm don't have excess engine mod right now to cause my car to run rich..
eventually when i do.. that's time to get engine management unit.

If you search on NASIOC there are several therads with people running BOV's and a stock uppipe that caused their cat to break up and eat their turbo. not trying to dissuade you or anything but yeah just don't want to see your turbo get blown.
