i saw a guy eat S*** on the 10 freeway yesterday.
I guess car in front brake too fast and biker couldn't brake fast enough and ended up falling down side way and kicked the bike out.

probably froze and didn't think fast enough. You only have about 2 seconds on a bike to react before going splat.. Either that, he was lane splitting too fast, when you are only suppose to go just a tad bit faster than the speed of traffic.

why can't a bike slow down faster than a car....
1. No ABS unless it's a BMW or 2009 Honda optioned out with ABS
2. Even with ABS you can be thrown over the handle bars
3. Rear brake locks up since all the weight transition is on the front if the rear locks up you have to keep it locked cause if you let go it fish tails and you loose control
4. No matter how much you stomp on the brakes you don't have enough tire on the ground to put the stopping power down.
and there are other factors too
