So it sounds like volunteering to work is the only seat in the house? It's a real shame they had to restrict the rally to no spectator area. However, this is a good rally to work since it's smaller than Rim but still has many of the same roads. Just hope for no fires and no rain!

Does the latest fire in the area have any "negative" effect on the Rally? Does the fact that the website says there are spectator areas affect spectating? Does anyone have a "working" email address for the rally to ask about voluteering...mine was returned saying it could not be accepted

Yes the fires have a big effect obviously. The decision to run or cancel Treeline will be made the week-end before the rally date. That will be predicated on rain hopefully, and the Foresty service decision. Watch the CRS website for info.
