Ok i have 3days left to get a car. Should I just get and automatic? since theres no 5spd.

 

why is there no 5speed? dealership doesn't have them in stock or what?

argue with the dealership and try to get a lower price for waiting this long

 

I ask them that. They said because the american buyer only want auto's because of Southern California has a lot of fwy traffic and dont want to deal with 5spd. "dam never knew americans where that dam lazy, no wonder they are all fat." haha

They said they only make 1 out of the 10 Fits 5spd.

The guys told me we wil sale me the 5spd for $14k on tuesday night. Dont see it coming at all since he said it might take about 10 days. lol.

Should I just argue with him and tell him to bring me down an auto to around the same price?

Damn I would of never have had this problem if I bought a subaru haha.

 

this really depends on you.

the fit isn't really 'sporty' so an auto wouldn't hurt, unless you have a problem driving an auto then that's you.

or you can wait (if you're patient enough) for a manual.

either way, try to bargain for a lower price, and threaten to go to a different dealership if they're not willing
