you can get your ps2 modded over at the hong kong supermarket plaza. i got my messiah 2 there. they also sell burned games

do you know what the cost is now a days for a mod chip install?

 

i think 120$ for chip and install
there's a guy hype12 in LB from nasioc he does chip installs for cheaper

 

120 isn't too bad that about 5-6 runs at dromo

 

i think is a reasonable price....most good mod chip cost $70-80
so you are spending additional $40 for install.
i use to do ps1 mod chip install for friends it was very easy
i try doing ps 2.. and dam..even pin is like size of needle..
you need very proficient solider skill to do it..
