i went to this japan style.. chinese open restraunt in the Yes plaza.. same plaza as banana boat.. it was pretty good.. and pretty cheap..
they sell chicken katsu bowl, curry, ramen..

if you're coming from monterey park, exit fullerton and make a right instead of going straight into diamond plaza (life plaza) and yes plaza is on the corner of colima and fullerton. it'll be on your right side, banana bay plaza
