i like progress springs

they look the best IMO they lower the car so the gap is the same front and back

if you look the fronts are higher on the car stock and on most cars that are lowered on just springs

I've heard that the basics aren't worth the money you pay. Never seen them myself, so I'm not sure how they are. If you are just looking to lower the car... maybe go for a nice lowering spring/strut combination.

I have the tein flex because of the dual perch system which allows you to lower the car without adjusting the preload of the spring. If you get the basics, when you lower and raise the car you will be adjusting the spring load of the car. so if you get really low, you compress the spring significantly which in turn makes your car bounce more. if you dont have the cash for new tein flexes then i suggest getting used ones. you can find them for fairly cheap depending on the condition.

i was just wondering, flex is my first choice, but i thought basics will still be okay. Do you think 1300 for flex is a good price? im not really even sure how much the retail goes for. Ive seen several different prices, i havnt seen any used flex's for sale, but if the price sounds good i will get it. I am on Eibach pro kits, but i still have a good gap. I would like to lower it more thats the only problem with my eibachs.

retail is around $1400
i say somewhere between 900-1200 is decent price depending on condition use or new..

The flex is great because of the casing adjustablity, I use the Tien Flex super drift spec set on my company car and its great.

Keep the spring load tension and slam the car to the ground is the best. plus the valving on the Teins are valved for daily driver use then a slight adjustment on the edfc and added tension on the spring rate you're ready to go to the track.

Save you money about the suspension and don't be cheap about it because you get what you pay for.
