I started my training today, ran on the treadmill for almost 10 minutes and did 3.4 miles, so I should be ok for the run. Anybody else want to do the run too?

I don't know if anyone else notice this but running on threadmill is alot different from running on the street.
I prefer running on the street better.
I use run around my block which is about 1 miles. I can only run around half way then i'll have to pause and walk for a bit..

i notice and i agree. i prefer to jog/run around my block and then down and back up the hill when i get the chance. i only use the treadmill when im watching tv and i dont want to just sit there and not do anything.

I jumped on the treadmill after I was done with my workout, but I will run around my block on days I'm not at the gym. But yeah I can tell the difference from the two, as I use to jog around my block before in the past

not really, considering 9:30 is a 'passing grade' for a 14 year old

http://runningschool.org/getting_kids_fit.shtml

my fat *** has been averaging 6 min miles since i started running again.

btw world class runners run under 4:30 miles.

Sorry to tell you... but the treadmill is off for sure.

It's good that you start running
