taking my car to norm reeves
well im taking my car to norm reeves subaru on tuesday morning. the service advisor, Tim, said everything should be covered under warranty since i still have 11K before i hit 60,000 miles.
hopefully everything will work out. any ideas on how i can make sure that what they say (being covered) will be true? I don't want them to all of a sudden say it's not under warranty and they will have to charge me for looking at the tranny, etc....

problems with tranny. i have about 49,000 miles, give or take a few hundred, experiencing grinding from 3rd to 4th and sometimes 4th to 5th. all my downshifts have been either rev matched or double clutched cleanly....i've been reading around and I hear now is the time that lots of synchro's go...hopefully it's ONLY synchros and not gears...
umm grinds into 1st sometimes when i'm at a full stop, other times, it doens't like to even go into 1st...don't know what's up with that.
I talked to the service guy there, he said they install exhausts there all the time, so being catless shouldn't be a problem. hpoefully it's true.

yea sometimes my clutch will be in all the way, and i'll try to put it into first and it won't go until several tries of letting go of the peddle and trying to get it in again. other times it will grind on it's way in, and other times it will just go in smooth....not too down with my tranny right now
