Subaru of Thousand Oaks *THUMBS DOWN*

My 2002 WRX has been having some power steering issues. So I call Subaru of Thousand Oaks to set up an appt. I explain my situation, how many miles are on the car, and he affirms that it is still under the 5/60k powertrain warranty. So the appt day comes, and before I leave my house, I call and make sure there is a loaner car available, he puts me on hold, checks, and says yes. So I make the long drive down there from the valley, to Thousand Oaks, and when I get there, i find a) They actually DON'T have a loaner car, and b) they give me a couple of stories 1) My milage is past 36k, therefore not under warranty, and 2) they will charge me $75 just to look at it and THEN he said it MAY be covered under the 60k powertrain warranty... So I'm like, ok, I'm not paying $75 to fix something that is under warranty, and even if I did, my promised rental car isn't even THERE!!! So after being treated like dirt by the two excuses for service reps in the room, I leave there in disgust, never to reccomend them to anybody who wants to service or purchase a Subaru. Stay away from SUBARU OF THOUSAND OAKS! THEY ARE LIARS! They talked down to me, blew me off and acted like it was no big deal that I had to drive over there over LIES
I don't know about sales, but I've had poor service fromt heir service dept in the past too. They had an early rep of being good, but it feels like they just decided to ride that rather than maintain it.
