Nick,
I only have three usernames: subaru kym, the faint and subaru. I'm usually on as subaru kym, but I'd like to keep subaru since it's an original. I won't create any more usernames, since I see it can that extra 0.01% server load. I also apologize for having those names, and would truly only like to keep subaru kym and subaru.
As for the proxy servers.. I hope you know that the sites and program interfaces that are being used are 100% legal. You can only ban x amount of proxy servers and there will still be 1000 times the number of proxy servers out there. Not only do proxy servers help you avoid spam, but they can also speed up your transfer connection: If the file you requested was received before to your proxy server, then proxy server will interrupt this file request and you will receive the file directly from proxy. Furthermore, I'm a big advocate of open source and the subversive tech community - an internet privacy advocate. In fact, I did internet security for eEye DS a few years ago.
I've been a very contributive member of SCIC, in terms of activity and expertise (where applicable). Even further, I've been involved in the community, having worked at a Subaru dealership. I put together events, make it out to meets, and answer questions and/or offer my knowledge whenever I can.
-k.
Also, puting me on time-out is completely pointless. I can either login through a shell and or proxy, and just post under another name. It's really not a hassle for me. In fact, I do it every time I buy something online. I'm just wondering why I wasn't given the fair opportunity as others to have gotten at least one warning regarding this situation. And also, why was my profile's location repeatedly deleted instead of giving me some sort of warning? I wrote a script that changes my profile back to what it was originally every five minutes.

>Kym,
> Please don't register multiple accounts. We really try to crack down on this as best we can. And I also would like to ask that you don't show other members how to user proxy servers. We banned any proxy servers we found a while back, but unbanned them to not block people who really wanted to visit the site behind a legit proxy.

Nick and I, since then, have worked things out. I've made my promise not to publicize how to get past the IP ban, and he's agreed to unban my IP's, remove my time out, and let me keep the two usernames I requested.
This must have been the quickest time-out/ban evar!!
