stick with 50/50 coolant and water

then dump in a bottle of water wetter

in l*****'s terms, just dump the water wetter in

on a side note I installed my oil crap can the other day

omg it was so hot this past weekend, decided to stay in and do stupid ish to my car.

Installed an oil catch can I bought off ebay for 4 bucks including shipping

my engine bay stock

start off by disconnecting the first hose which "t-bags" the blow bi-sexual lines on the heads.

disconnect the 2nd hose by teh intake

Re-attached the new bling type nylon hoses pictured below leading to the teh crap can

and viola absolutely the most useless mod you can do for your Subaru.

Actually teh purpose of this is to minimize the blow by of extra oil going back into your turbo.

Amount of time to do the install... 2 cigs and half a bottle of New Castle

Pros: I feel faster
Cons: its not faster

don't bother changing to different velocity oil. Stick with what you use normally.
10W-30 is good.

Its a stock car, stick with stock weight. Just rule of thumb. Run thinner, you can wear out your seals, run thicker, you sacrifice power.

i usually run a blend of 5w-30 and 10w-30 during summer/hot season and just 5w-30 for others.
