Great! when did they start doing this and what color do they have?

This is going to make you guys feels good. Balboa Subaru had 3 STi sitting in their showroom for 3 weeks, they wanted $10K mark up on them, obviously no one bought them, so the owner gave in last weekend and let all 3 of them go at MSRP.....yeah

Dealer can't beat us man, most people that is buying a STi have more then 1 car, we are not in a hurry, they are as inventory is the same as cash sitting around

I am waiting for them to go under MSRP

 

The price of a car don't have a lot to do with what it should come with. The STi is a performance car, most STi owner don't care for the factory radio anyway. Actually it is kind of good since most stock stereo from economy cars have nothing to desire of. (the STi is an economy cars, it just happen to have a lot of *****). What's the different anyway, Subaru can put the radio in and sell the car for $33K MSRP. I rather have it as an option. It would really bother me if it doesn't come with Brembos, 6-speeds manual, good power......etc.

It is more of an inconvenient, since there is no tune from the car until you put a radio in.

The million dollars Ferrari Enzo don't even have a stereo option. Same idea, just different market.

Now if is an expensive luxury car, that is different. For example, my Dad's $47K 03' Lexus GS300 standard stereo sounds like a stereo come from a $20K Accord, now that **** me off. It only sounds good if we get the $5K Mark Levinson/Navi package. That is complete BS to me, a Lexus is all about being comfortable and in the lap of luxury right? So if the stereo sucks, where is the luxury? It obviously doesn't have ANY performance.........

 

It is that all relative thing again, Lexus is a lap of luxury for us very poor bargain basement people.

Some people think a Hyundai XG350 with leather interior is luxurious, and some people think Maybach Bently Rolls Royce are all POS because in their mind, ALL cars are for lowly human being, they only get around in a helicopter.

It is all relative.
