O dont get me wrong sigma, ive heard of them. It is just that when people talk about reflashes, they usually refer to ispeed, vishnu or s-squared. Well, that is from what i have read throughout the forum.

I've heard of esx as well, but I have read in other threads that they may have a customer service issue. And also, they are charging $1000 for the EcuTek when Ispeed and Vishnu only charge $650.

ESX's custom service "issues" come from the fact that they're primarily a race team and spend 90% of their time on the road. When they're around, they're very good about helping customers (including paying to overnight me a sets of JICs three times to get them to me in time for a car show because JIC kept sending me the wrong struts.) Plus, the guys are all pretty cool, and they do excellent work! If you're local, just cruise by the shop, and I guarentee there'll be someone willing to do what ever you need!

Prodrive-USA in Irvine does not do custom tuning, and has no dyno on their premises, AWD or otherwise. For Subarus, they will reflash your ECU with a stage 1,2, or 3 map when you buy the corresponding PPP. XS Engineering in Huntington Beach is typically the shop Prodrive goes to for dyno services. XS Engineering is on the list linked to below.

Link to ECUTek's dealer list, which notes whether the dealer owns a "4 wheel drive rolling road":

I've been to the Irvine facility twice. Dan and Simon tested my car as a benchmark for the PPP2 last summer. I was having a problem in which the car would accelerate faster at 90% throttle than at WOT, and I had posted about it on NASIOC. I thought it was a problem with their map. Dan asked me to bring my car to them for testing.

They hooked a laptop to it and drove away. They were back in 5 minutes, and Simon immediately asked me about my boost control restrictor. Well, it was homemade, and I had made the hole slightly smaller, thinking I'd get better boost response. Had an orifice diameter of .045", instead of the 1.2mm (.047") it should have been. (I used to be a machinist).

Simon put in an OEM restrictor, made a little fun of the one I had made, and closed the hood. They then left in my car, did their performance testing, and while they were gone, I got to take a very good look around their shop. My homemade restrictor, which was .002" smaller than stock, was the entire problem.

Later, we talked in some detail about the PPP's and about Prodrive's approach to tuning. Based on that, and some interaction with him on the boards, I can say with certainty that what I wrote previously is correct. I can also attest that Simon Lines would be a very good Subaru mechanic if he wasn't already an automotive engineer, but I'm veering off-topic now.

Sorry for the long answer, but just saying "No" seemed too easy.

Back on topic...

To answer the OP directly, XS Engineering in Huntington Beach is an ECUTek dealer and has an AWD dyno on premises.

Thanks for the update. Never meant to say that they didn't "tune cars". The actual question involved ECUTek relashes in SoCAL. They don't do that.

Yes, they can reflash your ECU, and yes, that technology is based on the ECUTek software, but you don't get an ECUTek license with a PPP, and you won't get any kind of reflash from Prodrive that's not a PPP.

Right now easystreet has Ben from England by way of Canada he is an one of their "Ecuteks" main techs. I don't think he will be there too long. Ben is the same tuner who tuned the STi in the SpeedTV TunerTransformation show
