i mean we have big track comming up so if you really want to see who can put a lap time down you are welcome to come try in either your subaru or mazda and you can pick who ever you want to time it

 

what happened though? pressure from the vw and you overshot your braking zone after the esses?

 

the VW was putting alot of pressure on my back after he pass lawson
During the back half he seemed like he was gonna make a pass on me after the back straights.
I stay offline because he was pushing his presence on the left side in my blind spot.
It seemed to me at the time that he was making a pass.
With franco's comment "expect a pass any where" i stay offline in case the vw wanted to charge up and pass me.

 

You do realize how wrong you are for staying offline though?

What did we learn in beginner? If a car is going to pass you, make sure you are on line. The car that is passing will pass you off line.


I understand the pressure, but you driving off line was a mistake, but I do understand you want to let a faster car go by

 

well at the time the reason i did not get back on line because i felt it wasn't safe for me to get back online because the VW was making it's presence on my left side. I did not want to cut him off, but i admit that was my mistake on the 1st advance group run.

 

Well from the vid, after you cleared the left turn after the chicane, you opened up for him to pass. Because on the vid, he's riding your *** right before it. It looks like your instincts were to just let him by after clearing the turn which is why you lifted and drove off line for the opening. The Rabbit just thought you were crazy and back off and let you get back in line for the turn.
