hey i was thinkin about transferring into San Diego State University, but wanted to get some opinions on the school first. what do all of you think?

 

I am alumni, and it matters what your major is. It is a good school and has lots of ties to UCSD. The only problem really with SDSU is impaction. Other than that, I enjoyed the few years I was there. Oh yeah and parking usually sucks.

yeah thats what i figured, so i probably go in under another major.

 

It used to be the best place in the world to hang out during the warm months. Where the dome is now (library ent) was nothing but green rolling hills. I would come out of class, grab my chem book, and relax on the grass. Did I read? HELL NO. Half the campus females were out laying on the grass in bikinis sun bathing. My book was my diversion. Ah the good old days.

Yes Business is hard to get into at SDSU because the school is nationally ranked for it. Great program if you can get in. I like the school though, as it has a very relaxed atmosphere but you still do learn a lot. Oh yeah, watch out for the police if you live in the area. They will pull you over for anything.

 

TJ? 21? You only have to be 18 to party in TJ, sometimes not even that old.

 

TJ can be a double edged sword.
You need only be 18 to legaly drink in Mexico, so you can go there and get sloshed. However coming back is different. Try not to be too hammered and be under 21 or else you could end up with a minor amount of trouble. Or those with you...
