Scuba ?
I don't know if you want to stick around here to do it, but you could always do one of those resort courses that certify you in about a week. Almost any resort that's by the water and has scuba diving can do it, as long as they're PADI Certified (or whatever the other one is).
Also, a lot of resorts have "resort courses" that are basically a short safety/basics class followed by a pool dive then an open water dive. You can count those towards getting certified. I've done enough of those to get certified but I never did all the necessary paperwork, etc.
Lastly, go to PADI's website and I'm sure they have a full listing of places to get certified, as well as any other info you might need.
Have you dived at all, or is this just something you want to try?
Hope I helped at least a little bit.

Got PADI certified while on vacation in Jamaica - was like 4 classes and 4 dives and around $300. Got my advanced open water certification while on vacation in St. Thomas. Definately get certified in a nice warm water place without much drifting. Jamaica and Grand Cayman are nice cause you don't need to wear any wetsuits since the water is so warm.
Good luck,
