Oahu: Best place to SCUBA dive this time of year?
Hey,
I'm on spring break this week and thinking about going out on a boat dive.
Any suggestions on companies to go with, and sites that are good this time of year?
Definitely want to check out North Shore, but I've heard not till summer, right?
Any input is appreciated,
Thanks.

This time of year is a bit murky...
I dive regularly throughout the year...Had a bunch of friends that flew out to Maui this past weekend to dive Molokini...they said it was pretty rough...
as far as boat dives...it's a hit or miss as far as visibility goes...I usually do beach dives to cut down on the cost of the dives...but when I do boat dives, it's usually with Ocean Concepts out of Wainae Harbor...my friend sometimes books the Oahu Dive or Rainbow Dive if he wants to go wreck diving off Waikiki...basically, all of the boat dives are the same...they just get you out to where you want to drop down...
do you have your own equipment? If not, I would go with Ocean Concepts as they have top notch rental equipment...
As far as shore dives...I like:
1. Shark's cove / Three Tables
2. Hanauma Bay
3. Electric Beach
4. Haleiwa Trench
If the swells are down...most of the places listed above are fine...
