All in the name of safety.

Wow. That exact thing happened to me.. minus the sodomy part. I'm a trooper. I'll be a Rim next year, but you better betcha I'm not driving.

RIM '04 will be at the brand spanking new AV fair grounds. 6500 seat grandstands, not a butt has sat in them as yet. Two to three special stages will be run in full view.
Two huge exhibit halls for vendor fair and the Subaru Showdown II. Discussing big bus service to the course spectator areas with A/C, heaters, beverages, head etc.
Service break areas will all be in the fairgrounds. Acres and acres of paved parking, night lights, food etc. Even about 75 full motor home hook ups. No Kispy Kremes.

Am I visualizing this wrong? A/C and or heaters outside?

Doom has it. The busses would be a refuge for the untough, unclothed and Krispy Krowd, and those that can't hold it for hours.

Seriously they would solve parking issues, traffic, environmental issues (state park) and crowd control that has become a very major concern of all rally organizers.

We will see how it all shakes out as it's still being put together.

I'm not sure of the Boy Scouts just yet, hopefully they will be there.

Good news, Phil. Rim 04 just continues to get bigger and bigger. I'll probably fly down to see what's going on and hopefully we won't experience weather like last year's event. Anyway, my head still hurts from hitting the roof of your trailer! Thanks for letting me take all those lanyards from your trailer
