I just played in a tourney last night in a WPT qualifier...I did manage to get to the final table. Unfortunately, I didn't finish high enough to get one of the seats...The top 5 people got seats and I finished 9th.
I had an Ace/Queen suited and raised. This guy called me. The flop was 7, Queen, 9. I checked, he bet, and I rasised thinking he would fold. He didn't. On fourth street, I got an Ace. So two pairs for me. I went all in. He followed. I still can't figure out how he could...He showed me an unsuited 8, 10...Can't believe he would go all in trying for a straight...Well, you can imagine what happened next. The river card was a 6.
