My Intro
Hey from "June Gloom" Santa Monica, Calif....
My '03 Plat. Silver Met. WRX is my second car. My first is a Spec Miata race car.... '92 #24 SM... now a dedicated race car..... I have been road-racing it from new in SS. Now running with NASA and getting it from ITA to SM specs..got a ways to go before competitive again...
http://frostautomotive.com/dave_frost_racing.htm
The only funky thing that I experienced when the car had 18 miles on (and the second day of purchase) was it wouldn't start!!!!
Turned out it was a bad clutch relay sensor that knows when the clutch is engaged.. a never heard of problem...
Other than that, it has been strong and now has about 3K on it..
I got it for $19.9K new, and now plan on
swapping the downpipe (was going to gut it, but keeping it for future smog checks) opeing up the silencer, and maybe a intake.
Not going to do much untill 36K miles when warrranty expires...
I saw an ad for the STi hood intake for $160 unpainted, which would be cool when I make some changes...
Later,
Patrick
