So as of not too long ago, SCIC activity on i-Club has picked up dramatically. Can you guys explain to me the politics of SoCal Subaru community. Who left NASIOC and why. Who stayed there and why? Gimme all the gossip, rumors and info. I gotta know.

i joined nasioc and just lurked around, i didn't bother asking questions because all i would get in return (from looking at other people) is "USE THE SEARCH BUTTON NOOB". then moved to clubwrx.net, it wasn't really active at all so then i joined i-club and been here ever since.

as for forum drama i'm not really involved in that stuff.

edit: i-club is better than all because i got a cool sticker

 

heh, i guess because i-club is a friendlier and overall better environment, whereas nabisco... you've got a lot of people trying to compete to see who can be a bigger jerk... that aside, i've met a lot of cool people from nabisco and i guess the a-holes tend to overshadow good stuff nasioc has to offer...

i suppose it's only a matter of time before other people catch on to the fact that there are greener pastures at i-club... and leave nabisco... hell i did.

 

i think its a snow ball effect. no one was posting because no one else was posting. once we go tthe ball rolling it hasnt stopped. it has had ups and downs, but for the most part its growing ie ezekiel and ubermaus

i left nasioc because there was enough posting here to keep me busy to where i didnt miss nasioc.

if you look at nasioc now thier member numbers taht are posting are 80k+

the older people there just talk **** to the newer people. it's become super cliquey. whereas over here, it's more or less one big clique, if you want to call it that.

plus the blue and white format i have here. is pleasing to the eye. dull orange over there? not cutting it.

besides, im from the bay area. i-club is more or less where the bay area resides. so coming down here, i just have to change the forum number from 15 to 26, and i'm set.

also, any drama that seems to go down here, is pretty comical to me. there's not MUCH real hatred here. on the orange site though, lots of people just seem to be *******s. or it might be a few people who post all the time and make it look like the majority of people are *******s over there.

i'll add more stuff if it comes to my mind, but for now, that's more or less it.

Personally I still visit nasioc for technical articles and questions.
but I enjoy hanging out with the i-club ppls. We are all basically members who attends the local Life plaza meet on thurs.
I think i-club definately has more of a friendly environment than nasioc.
I think eventually more people will realize and move from nasioc to i-club.
