because i believe you can resell those for a nice profit, suggesting that you care for it enough to grow big.

first of all, they arent ILLEGAL....secondly, like slowguy said, u buy em when they are small, and if u take good care of em and they grow really big, they are worth alot more than u initially paid for it...just ask ed where he came up with his "arowana=gangsta bling freshwater" statement....

i've seen some that are about 18 inches long....they eat smaller gold fish u can buy at pet stores....often called "feeder fish"...like 10 for $1 kinda thing...they also feed on crickets....

yes, thats why if you walk into those high rollers dim sum places they'll have a few of those fishes that are HUGE. plus they're cool to look at
