Just gotta wait and see how the Lakers turn out next year. Bringing back Phil is a step in the right direction. Now they just need to pick up some key players in the off season. Either way, they need a lot of help at point guard and center.

The Lakers bailed on Shaq because he gets injured to much to justify his ~$30mil/year.

When the Heat needed him most this year he was injured. That said, I love Shaq Daddy.

No NBA team can win the finals without a legit big man. Lakers don't have a legit big man. You cannot win in the NBA unless you have a presence down on the block.

Trading Shaq, stategically wasn't a bad move but they got squat in return.

Unless Jackson can turn Lamar into a 90s Mailman and Chucky Atkins becomes Nasty Nash, the Lakers are an also ran.

 

Lakers? Whos the Lakers? The only team I've watched since I was little (crying or angry most of the time) were the Warriors. But this year, they finally have a formidable team!
