I bought some clear side markers and the bulb that is in there is 168 and not amber. So, to be legal, I went looking for an amber 168 bulb and could not find any, so I bought 194 bulbs. Does anyone know if this will melt/burn/damage my wiring or anything else that has to do with the system?

Maybe for the headlights, but the law states that every car has to have some sort of amber at the corners in the front.

as lon as you have amber in the turn signals, then you should be good. ive been running clear sidemarkers for years with no problems.

 

hmm hehe okay, well if these bulbs burn up, i'll put the stock bulbs back in and see how it goes :-)
