GROUP BUY!!!! painted side skirts
Tryin to get a group buy started on getting side skirts painted.
How many people want to get in on this? And if anyone knows of any good shops that they currently use....speak up.

Looks like it. I've heard of some places charging as low as $100 or so (no prep) or up to $200 for a quality job. I'm certainly game for a higher end job - I heard the painted side skirts from places like subaruparts.com have a matte finish, not a gloss like the actual paint, that's why I'm not keen on just paying $250 on whatever they want for those.
Anybody want to at least point us in a direction?

not really, that's why Matt doesn't want to do another one with them. If you look at mine (which was done during that group painting) they don't match very well. He has contacted a few places, but I don't think he has found anything that he is happy with.
Depending on the price I might be interested in doing them over again.

i'm definitely down for gettin the higher end job like u said hagbeard. now hopefully we can get some good ideas of where to go. theres a place in thousand oaks i will go get a quote from either tomorrow or monday. i will also see if i can find any connections thru friends.

got my skirts done in a shop in Burbank $140 prepped and painted, color matched perfect and has the same sheen as the car, lips painted $50 size of lip similar to OEM, takes the took the guy 3 days for the skirt and a day for the lip
