hm is that because ur running a 17/18x8.5 which gives u an additional 1mm inner clearance

You can't go wrong with this set, Lawson. These tires are great and the rims will definitely fit. I believe the stock rims for the 06's are measured at 17 x 7, same as my STi Wagons. The OE tires on those rims are 215x45R17. Unless of course you don't want to spend the money.
