Oil filter defect notice

I have learned the following.

suspected bad batch numbers:
your oil filters should have a series number stamped on them
if you have one of the following series numbers,
then your filters are suspect of this seepage issue
  1. F08
  2. F09
  3. F10

One would think you should be able to exchange them for a known "good" oil filter at any Subaru Dealership, but again, there is no known official recall at this time.

That's all I have for an update at this moment.....

Yeah, there's this thing called a fuel pump that builds pressure in the fuel system. Those crazy engineers.

you should use a clamp for the hose. Just dont start the car ever and it will stop spraying.

thats why god gave us thumbs and kevin


actually the correct way is to pull the relay or fuse adn start the motor to use the pressure and fuel in the lines
