every 3000 miles
mobil 1, 10w30, although my uncle insists that I should use 5w30. i'm nt sure why, something about the viscosity of it.
i'm due for an oil change soon, but i don't know what i should put in. whatever it is, i only use mobil1 synthetic though

haha...i have a whole shelf in my garage full of mobil-1 10w30...still have a few of the coupons left as well...
francis, im still running dino 5w30 but will switch to 10w30 syn next time around...since we're in cali, i think the 10w30 wont be an issue and would even help protect a bit better...

10W30 should be used in the sumemrtime or in a hot climate, as it is thicker and thus maintains proper viscosity at the high temperature. 5W30 (thinner, less viscous) is recommended for cold weather, when everything thickens and becomes harder to move.
So for some of us (with cold winters and hot summers), it's a seasonal thing...
