Oh... and no that Off Topic forum post isn't me since I don't even have access to that site. I hardly drive the M3 anyways. Although its quite a hoot seeing Suby owner's reaction when I wave them down on the highway, hehe

If i wanted to put an r/c car together.. nothing all crazy, just something that i can drift around in the parking lots with... Rough estimate on how much that would cost?

RTR - Ready to Run vehicles would be your choice. The Tamiya ones are prebuilt, prepainted, have LED lights already installed with Radio/receiver. (TT-01D is drift spec version)

The only thing you'll need is a battery and charger. I think I may have a battery and charger sitting around that you can have. Oh, to answer the original question... it'll run you less than $200 bucks.

The RTR version are based off the normal kits, except someone built it for you from the factory. So yes, they can be modded. The drift version has some mods already installed.
Sigma: dude, how old is that battery pack? It's probably going to false peak and run at half the juice o_O
